The Calderdale Food Network was established in July 2017, in recognition of the major role food plays in the health and wellbeing of our community and the need for a coordinated, locally led partnership approach to establish a good food culture. Members include individuals, groups and organisations for the public, private and voluntary sectors, working collaboratively to create a healthy, sustainable and equitable food system.

Grow + Graze plan to start in the Upper Calder Valley but eventually we would like to produce enough fruit and veg to supply all our schools, hospitals and older people's homes with healthy food. It would also be sold locally in shops and veg box schemes and would be enough to provide for the needs of all our families.
